E-Waste Recycling

Closing the Loop on Technology

In today’s digital age, electronic devices power our lives—but when they reach end-of-life, they often become hazardous waste. E-waste includes discarded phones, laptops, TVs, batteries, and circuit boards, many of which contain toxic materials like lead, mercury, and cadmium. If not handled properly, these substances can contaminate soil, water, and air—posing serious risks to both people and the planet.

At OG Plaanet, we believe that technology should never become a threat to sustainability. Our e-waste recycling solutions are designed to recover value, reduce pollution, and build a circular economy that respects both innovation and ecology.

What we recycle

We responsibly collect, dismantle, and process a wide range of electronic waste, including:

  • Mobile phones, tablets, and laptops
  • Televisions, monitors, and printers
  • Batteries, chargers, and cables
  • Circuit boards, CPUs, and hard drives
  • Home appliances like ACs, washing machines, and microwaves

Our process ensures safe segregation, material recovery, and disposal of non-recyclables in compliance with India’s e-waste management rules.

Who We Work With

  • Corporations and tech parks
  • Educational institutions
  • Municipal bodies and smart cities
  • NGOs and community organizations

We offer customised solutions, including data destruction, reverse logistics, and awareness campaigns to ensure safe and responsible e-waste handling.

How It Works

  1. Collection & Segregation We partner with institutions, businesses, and communities to collect e-waste through structured drives and reverse logistics.
  2. Safe Dismantling Devices are dismantled in certified facilities to separate reusable components and hazardous materials.
  3. Material Recovery Valuable metals like copper, aluminium, gold, and silver are extracted for reuse, reducing the need for virgin mining.
  4. Responsible Disposal Non-recyclable residues are safely disposed of through authorised TSDFs (Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facilities).

Why E-Waste Recycling Matters

  • Environmental Protection: Prevents toxic leaching into ecosystems
  • Resource Efficiency: Recovers rare earth metals and reduces mining
  • Job Creation: Builds green jobs in collection, processing, and logistics
  • Compliance & ESG: Helps businesses meet Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and sustainability goals

India generates over 1.6 million tonnes of e-waste annually, yet only a fraction is recycled formally. OG Plaanet is committed to changing that—by making e-waste recycling accessible, transparent, and impactful.
